NIC/98/P11
GeoCon provided during a month technical assistance to the United
Nations Population Fund Project NIC/98/P11 "Apoyo a los
Sistemas de Información Socio-Demográficos para el Desarrollo a
Nivel Local" (Support for Social-Demographic and Geographic
Information Systems at local level) in Nicaragua. INIFOM coordinated the
assistance.
The
principal objective of this technical assistance was to create a
proposal for the design of a Social-demographic and Geographic
Information System (SIS-SIG) for the Municipalities of Esteli,
Somoto,
Ocotal, Jinotega y Matagalpa.
